Entry #14
I just wanted to put this up here and say that following the relative success of Concerned Joe as a flash game, we've decided to work on a bigger, baddass-ier version that would be released as a downloadable game.
So what do we have so far?
Well, after messing around with C++ for a few months, we decided that would probably took too much time and probably won't be as good as we hope it be, so now we're making the game with Love!
Like, literally!
https://love2d.org/ <- is an awesome game engine written in Lua.
EDIT: NEW SITE WITH UPDATES AND INFO
And thank you!

that's pretty a cool looking engine, but can't flash make downloadable content to run in adobe air or something like that?
It could, and while we were considering using flash for a while, the fact that even if you use Adobe Air, you're still only running from within the flash player and as such are subjected to security limitations such as inability to completely control right click menu, and not having full control over things such as screen resolution made Lua much more favorable.

Put it on steam for a decent price, and I'll probably pick it up.
If getting on Steam were that easy, we'd all be millionaires :P
But that's definitely a goal we've set for ourselves.
